Foreign co-signer on a spending permission

perm-active-cosigner

Foreign co-signer on a spending permission is a Leeri screening rule for TRON that detects the following: A spending-capable active permission includes a foreign key as one signer among several, without that key alone controlling it.

What it detects

A spending-capable active permission includes a foreign key as one signer among several, without that key alone controlling it.

When it fires

A foreign key holds partial signing weight on a value-moving permission but the threshold still requires this address's own key(s) too.

What it means

A foreign key shares spending rights with the owner but cannot move funds without the owner's own key. This is typical of shared or multi-approval wallets and is a weaker signal than a foreign key that can spend alone.

What to do

Confirm with the customer who holds the co-signing key where account control matters to your relationship.
